Eligibility Requirements

1. Sponsor Requirements

a. Associate or honorary members are not eligible for sponsorship

b. The sponsor must be an annual, enlisted, retired or life member of the Mississippi National Guard NCO Association before 1 January prior to the annual conference.

c. If deceased, the sponsor must have been an annual, enlisted, retired or life member of the Mississippi National Guard NCO Association at the time of death.

d. Association regular annual, enlisted, retired or life members may be considered their own sponsor.

2. Applicant requirements:

a. The applicant must be an unmarried dependent child or spouse of the sponsor. If sponsor is deceased; the spouse must not have remarried. Association enlisted members may also apply

b. The applicant must be a high school senior or equivalent, or have at least one full semester remaining towards an undergraduate degree and must attend an accredited university, college, community college, vo-tech, business or trade school.

d. Previous scholarship winners are not eligible to re-apply.

2. Dependent unmarried sons and daughters of EANGUS members
3. Spouses of EANGUS members
4. Unmarried spouses and unmarried dependent sons and daughters of deceased EANGUS members who were in good standing at the time of their death.
